crocheting fun

Lately I've been crocheting alot. My mom taught me when I was younger but I always sewed instead. She's been crocheting on a baby blanket for my soon to be born niece. Me watching her crochet has gotten me now crocheting. So, it's been four days since I picked up the crochet hooks. I've finished a hat and am working on another. I made the hat that Lain wears in the anime Serial Experiments Lain. It turned out cute! Now I am working on a Kumagoro hat. Hurrah for pink yarn and rabbit ears. ^_^

MTAC was awesome! I can't wait till next year! Just wish the next theme was something other than Ninja. I like ninjas, don't get me wrong, just..so many Narutards. I like Naruto to an extent, but geesh. If I see more than three Naruto's and every other character, I'm going to go crazy. Might join in with someone about carrying around a Naruto severed head. All bloody and what not, that would be awesome.

But, I took some pictures of MTAC and whatnot. It was fun. I made lots of new friends and bought two posters and a deck of cards. Oh how I love those cards. Best collecting thing evah! I'm now preparing for AWA. I didn't think I would get to go this year cause of money, but my friend got me a free membership so I can go for free. Just have to figure out how to get down there. I still have till September. Wow...I'll be 20 for the con. Old!!!! I'm aging to quickly! I want to be that young 14 again. But then...I wouldn't be able to get into the Yaoi panel. There are 10 days till MTAC. I have Sai's outfits done and have yet to finish mine. I'm getting there though. Just a little more to go. I'm excited! The weather was great today and there wasn't any wind, so I couldn't help but take some pics of Sai as Pikachu.

This Saturday is the Decora day dollfie meetup. Yay! I am so excited. I am still working on my outfit, but I have Sai's done. We're going to have matching outfits. But I have to spam a few pics of him cause he is so cuute! I loves Decora.

Today has been a good week. Not doing so well on my school stuff, but meh. It'll either get better or worse. Today is Easter Sunday. Whoot! Happy Easter everyone. I'm at home, alone, as usual. It's all good though. Tomorrow I get my car. I go down and get the title in my name, I get insurance on it, and a half tank of gas. It's gonna be great. I'll finally be able to get out of the house and visit with friends. Dollfie meetup Saturday, 29th. It'll be fun! And I'll be able to drive myself. Happy happy happy. Now all I have to do is get a job. Then I'll be all good. ^_^

Hectic Week...

I have been babysitting my two cousins and have been failing on my school work. I am so sleep deprived. Everytime I know I should get on and do my school work I just can't. Babysitting from 7am to 9pm in a place without internet, getting home at about midnight. I want to sleep! Then I wake up just to do it again. I've already missed one assignment. My grades are dropping. It's not good. >.< No more anything for me for awhile. I will be stuck on my computer like glue trying to finish up this assignment so I can start on my next one. Good news though, I should have a car this weekend! Whoo! The only thing that could make me happier, would be sleep. -.-

Like, woah! Today was bloody awesome! I'm in Murfreesboro with a friend that goes to MTSU. I've been here for two days now. Well, today we got up at about 11am, showered, dressed, and went out to eat. I took Saiichi with me of course. That little fellow goes everywhere with me. <3 Sooo, we went to this book store called Hastings. They had all kinds of books, movies, anime things. I got to browse around and take some pictures of Sai with random things. After Hastings, we went to this place called Buffalo Wild Wings, Grill and Bar. I had never been there. They have really good buffalo wings. There is a large variety of sauces you can get on them too. After we ate, we went Pet Land. They had all kinds of animals. I got to hold a Corgi puppy. She was so cute. I wanted to get her but Corgi's are crazy expensive. I also got to hold and pet ferrets, rats, rabbits, and birds. There was this one big white bird that climbed up on my shoulder. It was adorable. After Pet Land, we went to Party City. I looked around there some. I bought Sai a Saint Patricks Day hat. Now I need to make him a leprechaun outfit or something. ^_^ And after Party City, we went to Target. That was the last place of the night before heading back to the apartment. I took Sai in to Target with me. He had loads of fun. I took pictures of him with things. Through out the whole day, I've had two people ask about Saiichi and think he was neat. And now, I am putting up pictures.

being lazy

So I've been very lazy lately. I haven't posted on many sites, I've been laying around alot, and it seems the only thing I accomplish every day is my online classes. Even then I am failing on the participation part. I just don't know what to say to the other students. I'm the youngest in the class while everyone else lives in Arkansas and are in their mid 20's or older. I need to start on Saiichi's Battle Royale outfit. I have his pants done and the white undershirt and tie shouldn't be too hard, but his jacket is going to be hard. I suck at doing collars on jackets like that. I would also like to make myself an outfit for MTAC. I have my Battle Royale outfit but that's all. I should have a decora outfit I can wear and I may be able to throw together a sweet lolita outfit. If only I could find cute material for a skirt. I could make a skirt in about 3 hours. The blouse to match or something would be hard. I could make a dress, but I'd have to find cute fabric and Walmart just doesn't have anything. I need to make out a list of things to do. MTAC is next month and if I'm not ready, it's going to suck. I won't have any money for it either. Pooey. I'll be taking ramen and making it via coffee pot unless they have microwaves and I'll take my own water. Yay for the consuite though and free food. I think next MTAC I am going to get a table in Artist Alley or something. Make and sell dollfie clothes and accessories. blinky battle royale collars, loli stuff, alot of random things. Maybe I can be successful with that? I can try though. I do love to sew and that would give me something to do and maybe I could make a good profit. I'm going to stop typing now though. This is just what happens when I haven't posted in awhile. ^_^ Here's a picture of Sai just because.
